Françoise-Marie de Bourbon, Mademoiselle de Blois, Duchesse d’Orléans.

Portrait of both daughters of Louis XIV and Athénaïs de Montespan: Françoise-Marie and Louise-Françoise.

Françoise-Marie’s younger sister was Louise-Françoise, Mademoiselle de Nantes and later Duchesse de Condé.

There was another sister, Louise-Marie-Anne, Mademoiselle de Tours who died at the age of seven.

I invite your readers to view a beautiful portrait of Athenais de Montespan’s daughter– The Duchesse de Bourbon on my research website– danielbibb.com Click on “collection” and then click on “Paintings”, and scroll down to find it.
There are also other 17th century French court paintings to view.
Also on the website, you may find books and documents pertaining to the French Royal Family, including Marie Antoinette.
Thank You,
Daniel Bibb
Ooh, yes, I already featured that portrait in, I think August sometime as I wrote a post about the museum exhibition that it is currently a part of.
